Project Overview

Liquidus is driven by a team of technologists, accountants, lawyers, and experts in finance and blockchain who are building a more efficient way to facilitate the creation of companies, track data, and manage liquidity. Liquidus is the foundation companies need to thrive in an automated, digital economy.

They are based in The Bahamas, a tax-neutral jurisdiction with a stable government and proactive legislation around digitization.

Working with established service providers, Liquidus is an innovator in leveraging blockchain technology to provide organizations with an efficient and compliant process for digitizing and managing assets in the emerging global digital economy.

Liquidus CMO Jeff Neasmith came to us to provide some “lift” to their brand during a critical time when they were attending events and looking to maximize their brand awareness. 

The Liquidus team have specific business goals, and wanted to amplify their brand awareness in the Bahamas, and create authority on their social media channels that would showcase themselves as the leaders that they are in the FinTech and RegTech space. 

 

Challenges

The Liquidus team was about to launch their brand and website and needed a stop gap to run and build up their social media while their full time hire was being transitioned in. 

They also needed someone with background in blockchain, community management, and had experience running social media ad campaigns. 

Time was a critical factor for them as they were attending a couple of events, a conference in Las Vegas and an important meeting in The Bahamas, both of which they wanted to leverage their social media to provide “lift” and “buzz” around their brand as they met with critical contacts in their industry. 

Another challenge for them was that they wanted to monitor and listen, to not only their brand but other influencers and brands in their space, that would keep them on top of news, trends, and as a startup themselves, keep them aware of trends in their industry.

 

Solution / Strategy

After analyzing the situation, we felt that Liquidus could schedule, listen, monitor, and engage on their social media by using best in class tools. We setup and configured a social media management scheduler, that would not only schedule out their Twitter, Linkedin, and Facebook posts, but also help them to:

  • Discover shareable content feeds in the the Fintech/Blockchain space

  • Like, Engage with and Follow people they met at the events

  • Monitor and Listen to their brand

  • Automate posting schedule with customized approval workflows

  • Track, and report social media metrics over time

We also ran LinkedIn and Facebook Advertising campaigns that lifted their brand awareness, and engagement on their social media posts while they were at the events. 

They timed a news release and were fortunate enough to make the front page news of the biggest Bahamian newspaper and we were able to “boost” these posts for maximum effect.

 

Results

Some great results were achieved.

Their followers and audience increased over 1650% in just over two months!

They also were able to save over 25 hours per month of their new marketing manager’s time using the automation tool, reducing their dependance on manual posting efforts, curating content, brand monitoring, brand listening and producing reports.

They were also able to see interesting data and gain valuable insights on followers, and fans of their social channels which allowed them to plan and develop an influencer marketing strategy. 

Liquidus’ social media was enhanced to be more organized, and mature than when they first started and they are able to efficiently spend their marketing budget to achieve specific goals with lots of data to base their decisions on.
